Biography

Rachel Pecorella Genovese started studying theatre at a very young age, under the tuition of mentors such as Lino Farrugia and Albert Marshall, amongst others. She completed her studies with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in London, and then attained a Level 4 Diploma in Performing Speech and Drama with Trinity College, London. Towards the end of her theatre studies, Rachel Genovese joined a television competition series, and soon after her career in television kicked off. Rachel Genovese, appeared in a number of daytime and primetime series on major tv stations in Malta, including series like Rubini, Katrina, Dreams, and Sorelle. Towards the beginning of last year, Rachel started focusing on dedicating more time to theatre, recently taking on the role of Cathy in the theatrical production Castillo, commissioned by Spazju Kreattiv in collaboration with TakeTwo, and the Malta Arts Council.
