Andrè Mangion
Biography
Andrè Mangion has performed in several productions (full list here) produced by different entities in different venues. The repertoire includes classical work, contemporary work, physical theatre, devised work, ensemble pieces, musicals, ballet shows, and opera. I have also been invited to read works of different Maltese authors at literary evenings by different groups such as Għaqda tal-Malti and Il-Kunsill tal-Ktieb.
Andre has also penned a good number of original and commissioned work for the theatre. Worked on translations and adaptations for the Trikki Trakki – Theatre Youth Festival. Also scripted for television and wrote a number of short films including “Transmissjoni Indiretta”, which was chosen and produced by One TV. Led workshops on writing in schools and for Teatru Malta.
As a creative producer he has complete responsibility of the running of productions from as early as the concept creation to creating the necessary partnerships with entities and sponsors and the coordination and employment of artistic and technical staff to deliver the product. I also take care of the financial side of the production as well as the sourcing of different resources necessary for the Production.
